about us
ADANZ is a key player in the addictions sector, delivering innovative quality services, advocating for effective public policy and encouraging and modelling the core values of collaboration, participation and accountability within the sector. Effective services are responsive to peoples’ needs, reflect evidence based best practice and maintain a continual process of quality improvement.
ADANZ actively supports the development of consumer and whanau-led services across New Zealand and nurtures the potential of people involved. Consumers and whanau are involved in the planning and delivery of our services.
It is our commitment as a Treaty of Waitangi partner to work alongside our treaty partners (Māori) and identify how ADANZ can respond more appropriately to Māori in the delivery of our services across Aotearoa. Our aim is to improve our levels of cultural responsiveness to Māori, thereby ensuring our organisation and services are equally responsive to Māori as we are to non-Māori.
